On March 11, 2011 at 14.46 (local time), a magnitude
9.0 earthquake struck 81 miles (130km) east of Sendai,
the capital of Miyagi prefecture (Japan), followed by
a 7 meter tsunami. We continue to monitor the
situation and are deeply concerned about the
devastating impact caused by the earthquake and
tsunami. While it may be some time until the full
impact has been assessed, Our Future World Foundation
has activated our calamity response team and we
continue to work with our partners and nonprofit
organizations to develop remedies that can assist and
help victims of the Japan Earthquake and
Pacific Tsunami.
Our
Future World Foundation Support
To support ongoing relief efforts and to assist
the victims, Our Future World Foundation has made an
initial commitment of $1 million, which includes
$200,000 in cash as well as in-kind contributions of
$800,000.
Here are a few ways
you can help:
Ask your friends and family
members in Japan and other countries in the world to
use the following technologies to send love, energy,
kindness, compassion and healing to EARTH and to the
VICTIMS of the Tsunami and Earthquake (it is more
important than sending them material help only). It
will help to avoid further Tsunamis and Earthquakes.
